about

Eddie Kilbourne is a performer, story teller, songwriter. Also my first cousin. In our early days, Eddie was playing guitar and singing harmonies with the "big kids" and later went off to college and recorded records on his own. i probably fell in love with at least two girls at the beach listening to Eddie's records. Inspired, i started playing guitar and writing songs of my own, went to Asbury College like Eddie, was an English major like Eddie, and played guitar and sang at churches and coffeehouses like Eddie. You get the picture. I was honored to help record an album for Eddie, and he helped me get started in my own music career which is ongoing to this day. Hero, mentor, friend, counsellor.. Thanks Eddie

The swirling guitar sound this album, and this song, is made by stereo miking a Leslie speaker cabinet. You hear it on this song, and Old Mother Winter.
